These Terms govern your use of artsculpture.studio and the commissioning of any sculpture by Art Sculpture Studio (“the studio”, “we”). By using the site or entering into a commission with us, you agree to the terms below.
1. Use of this website
The catalog, photography, written content, and design of artsculpture.studio are provided for personal browsing and inquiry. You may not scrape, republish, or use any portion of this site for commercial purposes without our written permission.
2. Intellectual property
All sculptures, drawings, maquettes, photographs, and original designs created by the studio remain the intellectual property of Art Sculpture Studio unless explicitly transferred in writing as part of a commission contract. Purchase of a finished work conveys ownership of that physical object — not the underlying design rights, reproduction rights, or moral rights of the artist.
3. Commissions and contracts
Every commission is governed by a separate written agreement signed by both parties before work begins. The agreement sets out scope, materials, dimensions, finish, delivery date, and total price. Verbal agreements, email exchanges, and proposals are non-binding until a signed contract is in place.
4. Payment, deposits and refunds
- A non-refundable deposit (typically 40-50% of the total) is required before sculpting begins.
- Progress payments may be scheduled at agreed milestones.
- Final balance is due before crating and shipment.
- Because each piece is custom-made to client specification, completed works are not eligible for return or refund.
5. Production, delivery and risk
Production timelines range from approximately 6 weeks to 12 months depending on medium and scale, and are estimates rather than guarantees. We arrange professional crating, freight, and white-glove installation worldwide; risk transfers to the client upon delivery to the agreed installation address. The studio is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, or events beyond our reasonable control.
6. Warranty
Every sculpture leaves our studio with a lifetime warranty against defects in craftsmanship under normal indoor or specified outdoor conditions. The warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, mishandling, exposure beyond the recommended environment, or unauthorised restoration work. We are happy to advise on conservation and offer paid restoration services where appropriate.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the studio’s total liability arising out of any commission or use of this website is limited to the amount paid by you for the work concerned. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the studio is registered. Any dispute will first be addressed through good-faith discussion; failing resolution, the parties submit to the courts of that jurisdiction.
