Why do business with us?
There are many manufacturers (mostly from China) who are trying to sell their statues directly to customers. We have found that customers who choose to order statues directly often experience unsuccessful outcomes, and are dissatisfied with their purchase. The most common complaints are:
- What they receive does not look like the pictures they were shown
- Surprise extra costs
- Sub-standard material
- Damage at delivery
Services that set us apart from other statue providers:
As we have been in the business for over 30 years, we understand all the issues that discerning buyers need to have addressed to achieve a successful outcome.
We provide professional consulting, and concierge service. From the conception of the idea to the final delivery and installation of the item, we handle it all.
- Providing a clear understanding between what the customer wants and what the studio can deliver.
- Structural design issues based on customer goals and placement. Oftentimes, a customer will want a design that has numerous thin appendages or accessories sticking out away from the body of the statue. If the statue is in marble, this presents breakage risk. We would suggest different design options that still convey the desired result, while minimizing the risk of breakage.
- We oversee the initial clay sculpture with an experienced eye for little details that might be overlooked by the customer. We email digital photos of the clay model along the sculpting process for customer approval. We provide suggestions on revisions that would make the final product look its best.
- We monitor the choice of material to assure the customer is getting the best possible appearance. For instance, we examine the marble slab prior to carving.
- We help the customer choose the type of finish that would be best suited for the subject, and the desired effect. Polished or honed marbles have vastly different appearances. Textures and chemical patinas can be utilized for added effect.
- We assure the final sculpture is 99% accurate based on the clay model.
- We provide photos of the sculpture prior to finishing for any last-minute fine-tuning.
- We provide photos of the finished sculpture for final customer approval prior to shipping.
- We give each studio specific packaging requirements to assure safe delivery. Most studios are not capable of adequate packaging on their own, which often results in damage during international and domestic shipments.
- We arrange the most cost-effective international shipping. Typically we consolidate the shipment of numerous items to achieve additional cost savings.
- We are able to get immediate customs release as soon as the container is unloaded off the ship.
- We have the items transported from the port to our warehouse facilities for inspection. They email us photos of the crates so we can determine if there was any damage during the international leg of the journey. This also provides proof for any damage that might be incurred during the domestic transport. Surprisingly, 95% of all damage occurs in the US with the domestic freight companies.
- We insure all goods, and are able to get full and immediate reimbursement to quickly have a replacement made.
- The cost of the international shipping, customs release and warehouse fees are built into the price of the item. The customer only has to pay for the domestic freight from the port to the final delivery location.
